ALL Teeny Tears donations are coordinated directly through our national headquarters.

OPTION #1  CAN I SEND MY TEENY TEARS ITEMS TO HEADQUARTERS AND YOU CAN DECIDE WHERE THEY ARE NEEDED?

Yes!  Please include your name and email address inside the package so that we can let you know when it arrives, and to include your name on distribution cards.

OPTION #2 WHAT ABOUT MY OWN LOCAL HOSPITAL?

Teeny Tears currently serves more than 2,500 hospitals nationwide.  If you are specifically interested in donating to your local hospital, please email teenytears@gmail.com with your hospital's name and city to inquire regarding their participation status.  If they ARE a participating hospital, we will include your name in our database as having personal, local interest for potential future resupply efforts.  If they are NOT a participating hospital, we will help walk you through the step-by-step process of getting them enrolled in our project.
 

OPTION #3 HOSPITAL ADOPTION REQUESTS

  • What is an "adoption"?

Many of our volunteers donate most or all of their Teeny Tears treasures exclusively through the convenience of our Teeny Tears Hospital Request Adoption program. Many of our hospital requests are posted in our private Facebook group, available to anyone who would like to fulfill the need.  Find our Facebook group here: Teeny Tears Coordination Group

  • How to I "adopt" a request?

When you see an adoption posted in the facebook group that you would like to take, simply make a comment on the posting that you would like to take it. That's it!

  • What do I do after I have adopted a request?

After you have adopted the request, simply prepare the package for shipping to its final destination. When you are ready for the mailing address, email teenytears@gmail.com and you will receive the mailing address. After the diapers or mini-blankets are officially shipped or dropped off at the post office, email teenytears@gmail.com with your delivery report so that the package can be marked "delivered" in our official records.

  • I have never donated any diapers or mini-blankets before, is there anything else?

If you have never made a donation of Teeny Tears diapers or mini-blankets before, please email a photo of your treasures to the headquarters team before you get too far into your adoption project so that we can help you with any little tweaks or adjustments that may need to be made to your items.   • How long do I have to fulfill it?

Packages should arrive at their final destination within 4 weeks of adoption. If you are able to ship it faster than that, even better!!

  • Is this hospital "mine" forever?

No. You are adopting a one-time request, unless the hospital is local to you or there is some other very compelling reason for you to be listed as the designated volunteer for participation in future resupplies. We take every hospital and every donation to that hospital on a case by case basis and try to be as fair and flexible as possible without tripping over any efforts or reasonable desires!

OPTION #4.  I LIVE IN UTAH!

Most Utah hospitals are fully stocked with Teeny Tears items at all times.  Utah volunteers typicallly donate their treasures directly to our headquarters for distribution.
